Blue Faced Leicester

Blue Faced Leicester is one of the 'long wool' breeds, meaning a long staple which makes it easy to spin for beginners and fun for more advanced spinners.  It has a beautiful luster, and good crimp.  BFL is known for making fabulous sock yarns, as the long fibers are soft and wear well.....and of course it is great for other projects, too!!  Here it is presented as hand dyed combed top.
