These sock fillets are double stranded 'scarves' that have been hand painted.  Undo the bit of waste knitting, then start both socks at once (magic loop, or two circulars or two sets of DPN's) as you unravel.  Eliminates the ball rolling around, and you can set the Fillet of Sole^tm over your knee or shoulder.  The pattern that emerges will be different than the original, producing an amazing work of art.  Don't want to knit both at once?  I will happily frog and ball your Fillet for you!
