These sock yarns are hand dyed on a soft 3 ply yarn that is milled right here in the USA. It is 80% Superwash Super Fine Merino and 20% Nylon, creating a soft yet durable yarn. The yardage is approxiamately 440 yards per 100g skein, and the gauge is 6.75-8 stitches per inch on # 1-3 US needles. This yarn is perfect for shawls, sweaters, blankets, baby things, etc. It also makes amazingly nice soft socks.... I recommend a tighter gauge for socks.

Due to space constraints, Tiger Cub is now discontinued. Grab your favorites now....they will all disappear on January 1, 2010.
