They are here! Show off your patriotism with this self-patterning sock yarn. For 2010, the base yarn is Tiger Twist, a beautiful tight twist merino yarn spun just for socks! Batches of this yarn will suddenly appear over the course of the summer and early fall, so if there aren't any available right now, do stop by again. Stars & Stripes is a limited edition yarn that I only make in the warm weather months. The yarn patterns as shown.....on regular sized socks you will have approximately 2 rows red, 2 white, 2 red, 2 white, 2 red, then about 4 rows of blue with white stars. To make this yarn requires me to first wind a 40+ foot skein, dye it, then rewind it to regular skeins. 100% Superwash Merino Wool Nice tight bouncy twist makes stretchy and durable socks. ~420 yards, 4 ounces (Plenty to make an adult pair of socks) 7-8 stitches per 1" on # 2 needles Hand dyed with professional acid dyes For best results, hand wash cool with wool safe wash, dry flat. Can machine wash. Details on customer projects can be found on Ravelry. Stars and Stripes is dyed in lots of 4, when ordering more than one skein every effort will be made to match lots.
