Derelict Door - Self Striping Safari Sock Yarn

Imagine a weathered wooden door, painted blue...some spots have faded to a different shade of blue. In places the paint is gone altogether, showing a pale weathered grey.  The door is held closed with metal hardware, some of it a rich brown, some of it is rusty.  I've captured these colors in the striping yarn you see here, the sample is a 64 stitch sock round.
