Inky Depths Gradient - Zephyr Lace

This is the beloved 2/18 Zephyr Lace yarn from Jaggerspun, 50/50 Merino and Silk.  I knit up a veeeeery long tube on my antique sock machine, then dip dyed it 4 or 5 times to achieve this subtle but rich gradient in deep turquoise.  The color change is very smooth.  The stitches of the knitting lent a bit of a resist, which makes the final yarn very subtly shimmer between light and dark.  I then unraveled the yarn, and soaked it to greatly relax the kink, and caked them.  These two skeins were knit together and are identical.
