I've finally perfected this premium long striping technique that you won't find anywhere else. Keep it simple and let the yarn do the work for you, or these stripes are wide enough that your patterning will show up marvelously. This would really be fun for a Baby Surprise, leg warmers for your ballerina, or whatever you can imagine in bright technicolor stripes...or try a modular technique such as entrelac or domino! Put on your shades, these colors are bright!
Bright colors of pink, orange, yellow, lime green, turquoise, and violet make wide stripes of about 8-9 rows on the average adult sized socks. There is a one row flash of the other colors where the pink and violet meet, as shown in the swatch above.
75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon
4 ply, 463 yards, 100 grams
8-9 stitches per inch on #1-2 (knit snug for longer lasting socks)
Hand dyed with Lanaset Professional dyes for brilliant and long lasting color.
Hand or machine wash cool with wool appropriate detergent or shampoo, dry flat.
The sample is a tube knit with 64 stitches, each color is about 8 rows wide.
